Yes we were in Ontario.

We had a tour of this winery and I discovered that I do like Ice Wine!

You have until 3:00pm today to leave a comment and then I'll pick the winner!
Good Luck.
The trees in the background here is the reason why they are able to grow grapes here.
And unlike where we went last year at this time there were still some grapes left on the vines.
And yes we did have a taste or two of wine. Although the Tinman had more since I was the designated driver.

Okay you've probably guessed a bit about where we were but can you pinpoint exactly where we were. You have until Friday to make a comment and be entered to win a tag.

I love living in the country. And although Fall is not my favourite time of year I do look forward to seeing the deer each day as we are on their daily route for food. We have three crap apples in our yard starting to drop fruit so they circle our house to get their daily fix of apples. I rarely get photos of them because it's so hard to get out without being spotted or heard but somehow this morning I was quiet enough opening the front door and caught then almost unaware. I guess I was shaded enough that when they looked over they couldn't see me as I stood as stock still as they did. He stared right at me as I stared back. It was a magical moment for me.
I know, I know, it's not fall yet but I'm afraid the signs of it coming are definitely here. As we drove North to come home we could see the slow yellowing of the leaves on the trees. And even a few orange and red as we got closer to home.
So get out there and enjoy what summer we have left. Fall is just around the corner.

day and don't forget to stop and check out the beautiful fall colours.
