Spring has sprung!

Yes, after what seemed like an excessively long winter Spring is finally here and with it the wonderful flowers. I'm not sure why but spring flowers are my favourite. I think I take pictures of the same ones every year but I can't help it I just want them to last forever! So if they look like last years, really they're not, these flowers are blooming right now!

A moment of spring...

I had a very creative jewelry designing day today but took a few moment to enjoy the beauty of spring. I'm so lucky to live in the country and be able to step outside my door to enjoy this.

As I was talking on the phone this afternoon I looked out the window and kept seeing these butterflies go by. They seemed to really like the apple blossoms, who can blame them! So I took a little break from my copper and tried to get a photo of one...easier said than done. This was the best I could do. They seemed to like it high up in the apple tree and they didn't stay still long. Maybe they'll still be here tomorrow and I can try again.

Textures of spring

Yes we're all looking for Spring to arrive. I wish I could say that this will help but as I look out my window it's snowing again.
This is a variation of a design I did last year. I was able to get even more dimension for the flowers now that I have my disc cutter. Now I'm looking to purchase a good hole punch for those smaller discs I've made. There's always something you just need to have next isn't there!

Foggy morning

Well we woke up to a chilly fog this morning. But we can officially say it's Spring now. We've just got a little more snow left to melt here. The snowdrops have been out for a while now and the tips of the Daffodils are showing too.

Oh how I love spring. Is there a more hopeful time!
