Another creative Resin Jewelry workshop

It was so much fun to have this group of ladies in my studio last weekend. This was a mothers and daughters day. They wanted to do something together and we were all able to coordinate a day to do a workshop of their choice that worked. They were a lot of fun and very creative. They did a few new shapes that worked out really nicely. As usual for the Resin Jewelry workshop these aren't completely finished but I think you can see how wonderful they are already.

Resin Jewelry workshop

I just had another great Resin Jewelry workshop this past weekend and as usual my students were inspiring. As you can see one did a very unique shape and a few of them used their own finding they brought along making their creations very personal. Don't forget these aren't quite finished. They need a few days to set before the background is trimmed and hung from a chain and ear hooks.

So last year my sister Nancy wanted to take the Resin Jewelry workshop but the timing was never right or the workshop was full. And then my Mom said she wanted to take it too. So I decided to do a little semi private workshop just for the 2 of them. I know, sometimes I can be so nice;)

We got together in December to make the pendant and earrings and then finally got together again last week to put it all together. 
Didn't they do an awesome job!

Resin Jewelry workshop

I had a great time teaching  Wire Frame Resin Jewelry to a fun group of women this past Saturday. They created some wonderful pieces. It's hard to take pictures since the resin needs a few days to set so they aren't trimmed and finished yet but I think you get the idea from these.

As usual teaching has inspired me. I've got resin pieces in varying phases of the creative process all over my work table. I think I'll be ready to do a poring tomorrow and can share some finished pieces by the end of the week.

Creating jewelry with resin is so much fun and teaching it is equally fun. I get the best students! It's so great to see what designs they create on their own. What do you think. Weren't they a creative punch? Some did 2 necklaces instead of the usually necklace and earring set while Olive did here own thing with some components she had brought herself.

Resin workshop in the studio.

 This past Saturday I had 3 wonderfully creative students in my studio to learn how to make Resin wire formed jewelry. As always I was inspired by my students designs and creativity. Unfortunately I don't get to take photo's of the completely finished pieces since they need to cure for 3 days after pouring the resin, but I did get the almost finished works in progress photos.

Everyone was happy with their results and I was inspired by their designs.

To make this great teaching day even better, I had the Tin Man and his helper busy weeding my gardens and washing windows. It was like a dream day, teaching in my home studio while someone is doing my hardest chores.
